The Ancient Walkway of Orange

I am on vacation in Kyoto, Japan at the moment and wanted to share this shot taken at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine.  The shrine is made up of thousands of Orange Painted Torii in different sections, sizes and spacing.  The trail takes about 30 minutes to walk all the way through and almost feels like a maze in parts.  It is a really interesting experience walking through these brightly colored arches and one I would recommend not missing if you have the chance to visit this amazing city full of so many ancient temples, shrines, structures and palaces.

See it big here.
